A Bridge Between You and Everything: An Exhibition of Iranian Women Artists is presented by the Center for Human Rights in Iran, a NY-based nonpartisan and nonprofit organization working to protect basic rights and freedoms in Iran and promote cultural tolerance and understanding.
The exhibition will feature nearly 100 works--paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography and video--by thirteen contemporary Iranian women artists, both established and rising stars, who began working in the aftermath of Iran’s 1979 revolution.
The artwork is available to bid on Artsy from November 6 to 20 and part of the proceeds will benefit the Center's Arts & Culture and Disability Rights programs.
Curator: Shirin Neshat, an internationally renowned, Iranian-born, New York-based artist whose work includes film, video and photography.
Artistic advisor: Nicky Nodjoumi, Iranian-American artist whose figurative paintings, drawings and collages explore the dynamics of power, history and violence.
** This exhibition has been extended to Saturday, December 14.
