Rago/Wright's November 8th presentation of Post War & Contemporary Art taking place at 11 am ET features a top-tier offering of painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture from exceptional artists who defined post-war cultural currents and beyond. The selection is led by Scott Kahn's 1988 oil painting The Swimming Pool, as well as Fernando Botero's bronze Perro sculpture and two abstract canvases from Alice Baber. Additional highlights include painting from Jennifer Bartlett, Alexander Calder, Milton Avery, Sari Dienes and Walasse Ting, sculpture from Harry Bertoia, Claire Falkenstein, and Helen Pashgian, photographs from Robert Mapplethorpe, and works from David Wojnarowicz, Frank Bowling, and Lucio Fontana.
